Bar at The Main Event, a premier entertainment and event venue in WNC, is seeking a dedicated and professional Door Man/Security to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and security of our patrons and staff, maintaining a welcoming and controlled environment. This role is crucial in upholding the high standards of safety and customer service that The Main Event is known for.
Roles and Responsibilities
Greeting and Identification: Welcome guests and check identification to ensure they meet age requirements for entry.
Security Presence: Maintain a visible and approachable presence at the entrance and within the bar area to deter inappropriate behavior and ensure patron safety.
Incident Management: Monitor and address any disturbances or safety hazards promptly and professionally.
Collaboration: Work closely with bar staff and management to ensure seamless and secure operations.
Policy Enforcement: Enforce venue policies and procedures, including compliance with legal regulations and safety standards.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, assisting guests with any questions or concerns.
Emergency Response: Handle emergencies calmly and efficiently, coordinating with local law enforcement or medical personnel as needed.
Qualifications For Position
Experience: Previous experience in a security role, preferably in a bar or nightlife setting
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Composure: Ability to stay calm and handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
Observation Skills: Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
Certification: Valid security certification/license preferred.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and contribute to a positive work environment.
